Grande Portage Resources Ltd. is a Canada-based mineral exploration company. The Company is focused on the Herbert gold discovery situated approximately 25 kilometers (km) north of Juneau, Alaska. The Company holds a 100% interest in the Herbert property. The project lies prominently within the 160 km long Juneau Gold Belt, which has produced over seven million ounces of gold. The project consists of 91 unpatented mining claims, located 25 km north of Juneau and to the south of Couer Alaska's profitable Kensington gold mine.

Coeur "s Kensington Mine

Coeur "s Kensington Mine
Is in the background, watching GPG .

Reason is their mill could be running low on Reserves.

A couple of years from now they will need more resources, and they are close by.

Reason i bring up is below off of the CEO Board:

@Novo2018 Does anyone think that the Herbert gold prospect could one day become a satellite deposit either for the Couer Kensington mine or the Hecla Greens Creek mine? Both are about the same distance away and could be supplied high-grade gold ore by barge.

@HRA-Coffin Possibly. Kensington in particular. They are talking about expanding their mill and its a "relatively" short barge haul from oceanfront near Herbert to Kensington. And they are the same geological model so there shouldn't be milling issues. I suspect Herbert would not have to get a lot bigger at current grades to have Coeur thinking about a bid. $GPG
