Grande Portage Resources Ltd. V.GPG

Alternate Symbol(s):  GPTRF

Grande Portage Resources Ltd. is a Canada-based mineral exploration company. The Company is focused on the Herbert gold discovery situated approximately 25 kilometers (km) north of Juneau, Alaska. The Company holds a 100% interest in the Herbert property. The Herbert Gold property system is open to length and depth and is host to at least six main composite vein-fault structures that contain ribbon structure quartz-sulfide veins. The Herbert Gold project is an exploration stage, partially drill-tested, high-grade, gold mineralized mesothermal quartz vein system in the historic Juneau Gold Belt of southeast Alaska. The project lies prominently within the 160 km long Juneau Gold Belt, which has produced over seven million ounces of gold. The project consists of 91 unpatented mining claims, located 25 km north of Juneau and to the south of Couer Alaska's profitable Kensington gold mine.

RE:Results;

RE:Results;1 rockit says "And 13 gpt are hardly stellar". You are very mistaken. While the World Gold Council standard is one reference used, it does not reflect real world conditions. Take a look at a real world reference of the ten highest gold quality mines in the world. That is Q1 2020 of actual milled ore.

https://www.minesandmetals.com/2020/09/highest-grade-underground-gold-mines-in-q1-2020/

The World Gold Council defines a high-quality underground mine as having a gold ore density between 8 and 10 g/t, while a low-quality underground mine has a gold ore density of 1 to 4 g/t.

Higest Grade Underground Gold Mines Q1 2020 Au milled grade, g/t
1 Fosterville 42.4
2 Nevada Operations 35.9
3 Macassa 19.7
4 Segovia Operations 14.9

5                                                      Eagle River                                   14.0

6                                                      Costerfield                                    12.6

7                                                       Hope Bay                                     11.9

8                                                       Island Gold                                   11.7

9                                                       Bambanani                                    10.7

There are an awful lot of explorers who would love to have drill results like GPG is getting. They only drilled 157 metres to hit 52.34g/t!  145 metres at 15.27 and 161 netres at 11.47. This is open pit material which means mining costs will be lower. Some companies drill 1500 metres for 2-3g/t and are happy with that. If you own shares in GPG, appreciate what you've got. Its well above average!!
