what is the meaning of "partial holes"? i understand that the company is waiting for more results because thay need more information about the holes before they can release the results but what are "partial holes"?

Cores are cut in half. One half is saved and samples are taken from the other half at regular intervals. There are many samples for one hole and they have some back but not enough for a complete hole.
