Yes, I can see how dilution and the excerpt you have cut and pasted could have been so easily confused.  They are practically identical, afterall.  It could happened to anyone.

Perhaps dilution was the wrong word..... Buying back shares can be a sensible way for companies to use extra cash. But in many cases, it's just a ploy to boost earnings and, even worse, a signal ...more

And as you can now see....Wolverton is on the bid. To buy shares and then CANCEL them. ie....LOWER dilution. That is what a share buy back does. This is stock trading 101 for lakeside truck driving ...more
