RE: Scissor hole...

RE: Scissor hole...A sissor hole is drilled at the opposite AZIMUTH as the original and usually, but not always, at the same ANGLE (down dip direction). Hole 10 was drilled at an azimuth of 180 degrees (axactly to the south) so they need to pull the rig around to the south side of the structure, line up on the same north south line and drill back at it towards the north this time. Think if the two holes forming an "X" with the zone as the centre of the "X". Done right, it should give an accurate picture of the width and the dip of the zone. everyone freaked out about the Coffins guessed 20-30 metres as the width but 30 metres at the grade in hole 10 would be a great hole. Hopefully this hole will also tell them how much of the semi massive stuff is there and where to go next with the drill. People are frustrated but keep in mind this is not going to be that short a hole - I'm sure they will push it as deep as they can to get as much info as possible - its probably going to be 400-500 meters at least and you don't do that in a day with a core drill. This is a serious find and I think serious people are buying it. It should do well.
