WHOOPS!I just had a call from an old friend of mine who has much more trading experience and he suggested one other possibility and it makes a lot of sense.
Canaccord is involved alright but what they are doing is trying to "suck" stock out by keeping a lid on the share price.
Why this makes some sense is:
1. I couldn't figure out how they were making any money, and
2. Why would they be fooling around with a Gold deal in this type of up market for the commodity.
My friend pointed out three other deals, all gold plays, ZR, CRD,
and GTQ, where the same type of strange trading is taking place.
Given the move in Gold prices over the past month I must admit that it is more likely they are trying to accumulate positions in these stocks and trying to camoflage their buying.
Sorry about the earlier rant but this is Good News to All Longs and I guess once they have their positions the stock will move up.
