How I see it is that previous admin delay was criminal / corrupt.
Current admin has good intentions. Could not sign right in office. That would be political suicide.
They took 18 months to prepare, make deals in $$ and politically, educate people, etc. By the looks of the latest news items and support from various layers, it might actually getting to a point of unfreezing this project soon.
Regarding company / govt:
Agreed thats just not very positive. I dont know why Luis/govt cannot give a timeline. Its one of my few worries left. Why can they not come up with a timeline for the company. Sit down with them. Company cant even reach Luis directly im told. But only via middle men. But what do I know. Like said on ceo we overestimate the importance of this permit for them. As for management, they also are being hold a carrot in front of them.... next month. Christmas. ... and time passes by. While arbitration is like divorce. While waiting there is a chance this monster can be expanded with Cachimbo. Thats also something... maybe management knows even more on the potential of the drilling then we all know. They did stop drilling cause they did not want to give away the goods.
