GoldQuest will bring internet to communities near the Romero project
EL NUEVO DIARIO, SAN JUAN DE LA MAGUANA.-The GoldQuest mining company reported this Sunday that it installed the equipment to bring internet to the communities near the Romero Project, in the area of La Higuera, municipal district of Sabaneta.
The mining company's claims are to provide the communities of Hondo Valle, La Cinaga, La Higuera, among others, in the municipal district of Sabaneta, with a communication system via free Wi-Fi.
The project to install the communication equipment is contemplated in 3 stages
a first stage, the works began in the community of La Higuera and will later be installed in the aforementioned communities.
The residents of La Higuera said they felt very moved and thanked the president of the mining company, engineer Luis Santana Pereira, for remembering them and bringing this internet to their communities.
For his part, Santana thanked the communities for their identification with the Romero project and stated that these actions are only small samples of what the social management and development that the Romero project would bring to San Juan will be.
