Good read. Enough LIES! GLTA!https://elnuevodiario.com.do/la-ciencia-contra-la-ciencia/
I cannot understand, no matter how much they explain it to me, how it is possible that professionals who use science daily in their jobs, are against science itself.
It is as if we were living in the age of the cave or we are facing the most absurd thing that we can contemplate in life.
I refer to the fact about several doctors headed by Dr. Senn Caba, who are preparing to march in San Juan de la Maguana, against some environmental studies. Oh my GOD! But are doctors indicating clinical studies to patients to find out what they may have?
How is it possible that those who send studies to oppose other studies?
In a recent poll, carried out by Gallup, the information was leaked that 68% of the people of San Juan agree that environmental studies be carried out in the Romero mining project.
If that is true, why oppose what the majority says? Nor do I see the logic that they oppose something that does not represent any harm. The sanjuanero does not want exploitation, without first doing environmental studies, which is the right thing to do.
On the contrary, a very serious and credible environmental impact study is what will clear up all doubts about the possibility of future mining exploitation in San Juan.
The clinical studies are the ones that tell the doctors what the patient may have, and if it can be treated or not, in the same way an environmental study is the one that will tell if the gold of San Juan is exploited or not. Besides, what the hell does a doctor know about mining or environmental studies?
I find it strange and even suspicious that medical professionals, who daily send people to do clinical studies, oppose environmental studies. Damn!
That is why I say that it is putting science against science itself.
