The Export and Investment Center of the Dominican Republic (ProDominicana) and the General Directorate of Mining signed an inter-institutional collaboration agreement to promote actions aimed at increasing the entity's participation in the attraction and expansion of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), to through the Single Investment Window of the Dominican Republic (VUIRD).
With this alliance, the entities intend to facilitate the processes of installing new Foreign Direct Investment in the country through the mining sector.
In this way, the General Directorate of Mining joins the VIURD digital platform to facilitate the services of permits, licenses, registrations and no-objection documents.
The executive director of ProDominicana, Biviana Riveiro Disla, expressed that mining in the Dominican Republic has played a predominant role in recent years.
Rolando Muoz, general director of Mining, expressed the Council's commitment to supporting the installation of mining companies.
