Alberta Solar Project is a portfolio of projects totaling 400MW in Alberta, Canada.

RE:schnepsI have no idea if the City currently has rights to apply to the project but they are always buying, its part of their mandate for each year.
That is also why I find it so convoluted that the developer can merely use up what rights they have and then just buy more if needed. That raises the exact question as to where the required water for the project is coming from?
This is part of the reason why its important to see the 2023 Annual Report (which I believe is due out around the second week of March). 
Those 262.5AF (175AF pumpable) should be in Greenbriar's account or at that the very least in Jeff Ciachurski account (as per his letter to the City). If for some reason the project doesn't work out (which I don't believe is the case) then in my opinion Strasser and Morris have zero obligation to turn those rights over to the City.
The 70AF of water rights Heidi and Jeff sold to "The Address" (which has now been cancelled) are in the City's account and no homes were built.
Lots of moving pieces for sure.
