RE:RE:RE:City of Tehachapi wants Sage RanchIf the questions I posted are incorrect, then yes please put the corrected information up with direction or backup as to your findings.
I've read through both the District's submission and the City's submisssion. The items I've noted were standout items too me.
As with anything involving lawyers their is a lot of interpretation and viewpoints as to what is legal and what's not.
Some things seem very simple and straightforward until lawyers get involved.
Even when I first read the Water Assessment the thing that really stood out to me was the analysis related to reducing the amount of water needed (i.e. Sage will save 40% water reduction but we will use a conservative 20%). This was just one item but it felt to me as though "we'll make it work somehow". If this is how the system works, so be it but in my opinion it came across as not being very throughly analyzed.
There's are a lot varying opinions.
There's a lot of information each side puts forward.
I look forward to hearing the judge's final decision.
Again, I believe the water is available but there are issues between the District/City which need to be resolved and Sage Ranch is potentially caught in the middle.
