While tylerreddick aka navajojoe was flooding the board...

I did some household chores mostly and checked my estimates on Montalva afterward.

IF Montalva goes through, the completion of phase 1 (80MW AC / 160 MW DC) could bring in yearly revenues of 39 million USD for 25 years. There are 3 phases planned to build which could eventually double that revenue number.

The 39 million USD is the conservative figure (140 USD/MW) and not what GRB is aiming for IMO.

It's also without the 30% ITC.
It's also without the 9,800,000 in renewable energy credits.
Possibly it's also without the addition 10% ITC (for a total of 40%) for sourcing resources from the US (not sure about that).

Sven,  I'm a little confused and please correct me if I'm wrong.. It would seem that you found a stock you like in GRB, and continue to do due diligence to confirm that you believe it is a good long-term investment. On the other hand, Shrimps and Navareddick found a stock they hate in GRB, and do what they consider to be due diligence (?), to try to find ways they should hate it more ...more

See ChubbyHubby, that is where you go off the rails. Neither schneps or I hate GRB, as we both have posted how we see the value in Sage Ranch. The problem is, Jeff's promises of success keep getting revised and timelines pushed back, again and again and again. Even you and Sven cannot deny that simple fact. The solar deal is a whole other kettle of fish, as there is a heck of a lot more going ...more

Nope, don't remember any posts about the value of Sage ranch. I do remember 5000 endless google posts about water rights. There is only one entity that has slowed or stopped any project GRB has had in its portfolio, and it has nothing to do with anything Jeff can control. I've defended the stock, don't know that I've pumped it. Enough responding to you.. the circus music is ...more

Definitely serious comments made about "what they consider to be due diligence" and "In your professional opinion". I believe Sven makes it quite clear that he is not an investment professional but you are seeking his professional investment advice. If you want some advice on playing billiards or crashing stuff I believe Sven's your man. Be very careful to seperate ...more

Well, you're quite right that I'm not an investment professional, shneps. So I ignored that post from Hubbie87. I work in the software testing industry (but it ain't my job to just crash stuff). But I do have a little challenge for you to put your reasoning skills to work.  May come with a free lesson if you accept the challenge.  Which of these 4 statements below ...more

I take your word that they are all true but I'm not interested in even searching. Were you the one who took the picture in Switzerland and then scrubbed it from the internet later?

That's fine shneps.  The first statement I made is wrong. It was for the family officer of another investor but I declined as my ambitions were elsewhere as I wanted to work in the tech industry. The other 3 statements are right although I don't have any connection to the S.A.C. Capital hedge fund guy. I play snooker with a lot of our local club members for fun and coincidentally ...more
