RE:Montalva UpdateJeff i appreciate you always addressing the same old rabble with such passion, regardless of whatever the complaint du jour that occupies their waking minutes. Your buddy should actually thank them for getting his shares cheaper than expected. The sign of an intelligent investor. On the other hand we have the ultimate example of the famous description " nattering nabobs of negativism"
In the begining i sort of took umbrage with their continual bashing and their intended (unsuccessful)
influence on the share price. However when it becomes a badge of honor with them to advise that they don't even own shares, then i realize that their raison d'etre is actually more likely to be treated more with pity than anger. Since it is obvious that their is no real financial benefit to their presence
(including shorting, which to any trained eye shows that is not a viable tactic lately) one must conclude that they have not had successful lives and must pee on others dreams. Reminds me of another old adage which is also relevant " Misery loves company" Having said that it reminds of a story of a famous American Olympian who described his growing up in poverty. I think it may also apply to these bashers. He said he was so poor that if he didn't wake up Christmas morning with a hard-on,he had nothing to play with all day. Keeping tugging boys.
