Link to PREPA meeting reply

The PREPA meeting replay from last Wednesday is now available. Renewables are discussed around the 16 minute mark. It sounds like PREPA will be submitting the rankings to the FOMB no later than the 2nd week in November. 150mw is still in play. No mention of the FOMB accepting more than 150mw.... https://aeepr.com/es-pr/jg/Paginas/Reuniones/Archivo-de-Grabaciones.aspx

Thanks for the link Dr. Who. That was interesting to watch. Should I be a little concerned that their point man for the renewables portfolio couldn't divide 750 by 3600... twice! I mean he got 50% the first time and 2% the second time. It was actually comedic, but also a little unsettling. Also, do you (or anyone else) remember if Jeff said that Montalva was the only project submitted with ...more

Somewhat foggy their cloudy. The part of them having to rebid was a surprise since it was never mentioned here on the board. He claims it will get done and probably will but I do not see it this year and next year their surely will be some battles along the way. Sage still not approved and no confirmed date for final approval. Thats all I got. The rest is news that eveyone else knows. Sticks and ...more

Just listened to the Renewables part of the PREPA meeting. Apples can you tell me the minute mark where they say something about 're-bidding' shovel ready projects? They talk immediately after the 16:00 mark about Renegotiated Amendments for Operating Projects, which obviously are not the 'shovel ready' projects GRB falls into. Did anyone else hear anything about re-bidding shovel ...more

My post said clearly that they had to re-bid and that goes for all the companies. I never said they have to re-bid again. 9IsLucky said that and not Roadapples. How's that Porche payment coming along anyways?

Well Apples, ya lost me on that one, but for my part, I didn't hear anything about re-bidding (or re-bidding-again?) shovel ready solar contracts, so I'm gonna stick with that unless someone can give me a minute mark. As for my Porsche, it was a reference to something Jeff said a few months ago on the board, perhaps on your hiatus from GRB, but I'm confident my mom can give me a short ...more

Partlycloudy.... Most of the shovel ready projects are a half to a third of the size of Montalva and do not have battery storage. CIRO is the only project bigger than Montalva at 90mw so they might have battery storage, but I don't know for sure. However, Jeff pointed out that we have a potential Phase II that would expand Montalva to 160mw so technically we're the biggest project. PREB ...more

Jeff's statement September 23 states CIRO is a standard build with no storage.

Thanks for that Hubbie87
