Bonuses

Remember this?
"On August 4, 2021, the Company declared USD $2,740,000 in bonus awards to executives, directors and former directors of the Company...reducing materially management salaries and director fees,"
We were told these bonuses are just on the books and nothing has been paid out.
We have been told the CEO has never received a salary.
Nobody says anything about "consulting fees" though.
Reality is $1,250,789 has been paid.

Over at Captiva Verde Ciachurski compensated himself $587,828 in 2023 including a $101,771 bonus along with Ronnie Strasser was paid USD $8,000/month starting September 1, 2023 and was paid CAD 201,750 for consulting fees prior to his joining of the Board. Not a bad gig to be paid over $200,000 to consult the company on buying your Padel Club for over 3X the price you originally bought it for.
Apparently bonuses are paid for cancelling the JV agreement with Greenbriar.

Debentures paying 12% per annum in which the interests are received up front.

It is not unusual for insiders to line their own pockets with bonuses, but bonuses are usually given out for progress milestones. After watching the webinar replay, I got the feeling the Water District court case on Friday might be more important than they let on. Unless I misheard, it sounded like the previous timelines for Voya and the start of contruction had been pushed back yet again. So I ...more

Perhaps if you had paid more attention to my comments about Sproutly and Bevcanna instead of verbally attacking me you would have some money left to invest in Greenbriar at these levels instead of being a bagholder. I haven't made comments towards you here but you make it difficult not to respond

I lost a little profit on that sproutly venture, never touched bevcanna but how much did they take you for?   Couple hundred grand?   Now your jaded?   These are speculative fun stocks, no one here should lose their shirt if it goes belly up.  That would be irresponsible investing.    A little risk adds to the fun though!   all I know is from management to ...more

You mean too say this was a lie mean't to decieve people? "Buy $BEV at 0.99" I never lost anything on Bevcanna because I performed my DD and stayed away. Should have stayed away from Sproutly but ultimately lost about $8,000 based on someone saying they were buying, had an average of 7c and if the stock went to 10c they would be a millionaire. Took a flyer at 2c but all ...more

Shneps thanks for sharing all that great dd yesterday.  More disclosure ?  The GRB NRs on the settlement with its sister company PWR have been scrubbed by GRB.   Same with tge settlement with PREPA, it's no longer available to see unless it was covered by some other news provider.   After they settled with PREPA that original lawsuit is gone isn't it?  You can ...more

It is confusing, e.g. I am sure I saw somewhere it was stated that the Voya financing would be closed by May 5th, but now can't find that anywhere. Was I dreaming?
Comment by shneps on May 02, 2024 2:47pm
There are a lot of legitimate posts (even with verified links and information) that are being scrubbed. You will notice the threads that have missing posts from them. I've even seen a few of Svens' postings get removed.  They can have all the posts removed they want but the information is still on all of Stockhouse's servers, on the internet and in my bookmarks. It can be shown ...more

I'm not talking about SH. I'm talking about Google searches of news releases.

Interesting. Tyler. Check your messages.

Probably wouldn't hurt to do a little actual DD? Investing based on internet chat is both lazy and risky.
Comment by tylerreddick on May 02, 2024 9:37am
Well, at least we are trying to understand what is going on at GRB. You don't seem to be even interested in the stock, just here to attack other posters.

I haven't gotten to watching the webinar yet. Another hour of Sven's videos can be trying.

Trading range 84-88 since April 9th.   How did you make money?  Did you somehow acquire 10,000 shares at 84 and sell them at 88 perfectly picking the top and bottom of the past month? Doesn't seem likely which hurts the credibility of all other posts.
Comment by tylerreddick on May 02, 2024 9:56pm
No, but you are close. The simple fact that I have never lost money on a GRB trade must drive you nuts. :o)
Comment by Blizzy420 on May 02, 2024 10:36pm
You'd have to make a trade first. if I was wrong you'd prove me wrong so......
Comment by tylerreddick on May 02, 2024 10:59pm
Why would I need to prove anything to someone like you? I said I only made a couple of bucks on that particular trade, so why does that bother you so much? You just hate to see anyone make money while you are losing far more? Believe me, dude, it doesn't look like it is going to get any better.
