3 days since Claudia's article

and GRB hasn't said a thing?
I thought public companies were obligated to issue a news release when a material event occurs, and it doesn't get much more material than this;

The judge then described the peremptory writ in detail, including noting that it “shall command the city … to set aside Resolution No. 42-21 with respect to verification of a sufficient water supply … and any resulting project approvals.”

The Tehachapi City Council’s Resolution No. 42-21 approved the tentative tract map for the 995-unit Sage Ranch project.

You were right Tyler. I didn't think such a sweeping judgement would be made.  Yeah I agree with you this is very news worthy.

I honestly can't remember a situation where a public company has had such a material event occur, and the company didn't issue some kind of news release after 3 days. I realise it is a complicated mess, and the lawyers no doubt have asked for some time to figure out the best wording, but the judgement is pretty clear, and 3 days should have been more than enough. Ask what? They can't say anything useful until they release a NR.

I would prefer Morris or Harvey to be part of the statement! With this head bottlewasher it mybe just another kicking the can down the road release! Can anyone believe what would come from them? This judgement is serious Business!

Well my best guess is grb is actively trying to negotiating with the water district right now to come up with a solution.   I think grb will offer to pay water district their legal expenses,  and agree for the  1% growth.   And also some compensation.  But still water district cant overpower the judgment right ?  Even if they change their mind , can that ...more

What makes you think the Water District would have any inclination to work with GRB after what Jeff said? No, there won't be any "deal". JMO

I never said water district would ,  but it seems like it is best thing for Grb to do .  Grb simply can not afford not to build sage ranch after all the time and money have spent , not just that also to Grb's reputation and relationships with all the big shareholders behind it .   So it is possible Grb would on his knees and come up an offer that WD can't refuse.  ...more

That is a whole lot of hopium, but the reality is their EIA is DOA, and that is a very big problem. I am not saying that Sage won't be built, in some form, but there are a lot of things that have to come first. GRB's biggest problem right now is money, as they have many months of work ahead and no cash to do it. That can be solved with more dilution, so it isn't unsurmountable. The ...more
