Lawsuit

What I would really appreciate from this company is an update on the lawsuit. I assume that question over the propriey of the tech are holding things back considerably.

Most bashers as least spell check. Mailing that one in arent you?

What lawsuit are you refering to?  I just looked back at the company's listed "risk factors" in its annual filings and didn't see anythig mentioned about a lawsuit. And keep in mind, companies always go overboard with these for legal reasons - you never want to give a reason for shareholders to sue you.  Is it possible that the lawsuit you speak of is already resolved ...more

Who knows where some of these new faces come up with their claims. Its a good sign that somebody probably wants to suppress the sp for easier accumulation. Pretty weak but hey. Its a free world.

It was stated in the one of the MD&As November 25 2019 Claim filed against the CO2GRO Inc. The Company was served with a statement of claim filed in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice in October 2019 by Prosper Technologies LLC Canzone Limited and Prosper Industries Inc. against the company and two officers, John Archibald and Aaron Archibald. The case pertains to alleged breaches of ...more

Thanks for scooping that up. Its interesting that its not longer included in their MD&A. Maybe it was resolved?

Im not a law guy, just a small investor but I trust these guys with everything that is going on. They have put their own money on the line and im not sure as to exactly what the lawsuit entailed but its not, News at this point. Im sure once settlement they will tell shareholders. Highly doubt that it will hold back the SP

Statement of claim is still contained in the financials. I asked for a copy of the legal documents from the company but they declined to provide them. The only other way to get them is to attend a courthouse in Toronto and get copies of them at $1 per page photo copy fee. I agree it is a good sign that Ospraie ponied up the cash with the statement of claim still active.

Good catch. Just saw this in the financial filing as well. The highlighted part makes me feel much better about this. Companies will almost never downplay a risk unless they are confident about what they are saying. Otherwise they leave themselves open to additonal litigation down the road - i.e. if the claim goes against them and it does have a "material effect", shareholders could ...more

Blair does some pretty awesome duedilligence on CO2 Grow Inc and other companies as well. I first learned about this through his coverage of the company in a blog post last year.  You can find a link to his blog below, as well, the option to join the email list.  https://battleshipinvesting.com/ GLTA S

Yes, this is the lawsuit I was alluding to. I almost stated in my original post that I'm not a 'basher,' but figured that any vaguely critical comment would cause the hysterical accustation anyway.   For the record, I am really excited about GROW's tech, and recent sales that skip the feasability stage are very encouraging. It's because I like the tech that the legal ...more

Dont worry about Longholder99.. last time I vented fustration he was quick to call me a basher as well.  I tend to keep to the ceo.ca board instead. I myself have been into Grow for ~3 years now. Im happy to see sales coming in , but fustrated that the SP is this low.

Yeah, I hear you. Hopefully 2021 will be a better year for SP.
