Stifel GMP: This could be the next Silvercrest

Stifel GMP: This could be the next SilvercrestSilver Tiger Metals Inc. (SLVR-TSXV) – not covered
Market Cap: C$46m

Bottom Line: This could be the next SilverCrest

  • The similarities are easy to see  between Silver Tiger’s El Tigre property and SilverCrest’s Las Chispas project:
    • Same regional trend, same geologic package of rocks, same N/S trending vein system, same indications of high grade blow outs where veins converge
    • Historical production at El Tigre mine from 1903-1938, produced 100Moz AgEq at 2kg/t
    • Access to sample and map veins through historical workings
    • High grade silver and gold epithermal system
    • El Tigre property is 95km along trend from Las Chispas
  • VP Exploration David Duncan involved with discovery and advancement of Santa Gertrudis before it was sold to Agnico Eagle, involved with Etruscan Mining before it was sold to Endeavour
  • Doing vein sampling in underground historical workings through summer rainy season, plan to raise $3m late summer/early fall to do 10,000m of drilling on the high grade Caleigh and Protectora veins (currently $750k in the bank)
  • Have only drilled 5 holes in high grade, north end of property, highlights include 10.1 g/t Au and 1,991 g/t Ag over 3.2m 50m from surface surrounded by lower grade halo (0.65 g/t Au and 92 g/t Ag over 26m starting at surface)
    • Deepest hit is 1,107 g/t Ag over 1.5m ~70m below surface
    • Have traced veins over 200m vertically, 3 km of strike as mapped over surface outcropping through Sierra Madre mountains
    • Richest parts of these mineralized systems is where they veins intersect - still haven’t drilled one of those yet but when they do, I would expect multi-kg silver intercepts
  • Valuation backstopped by pit constrained resource of 600koz AuEq @ 0.7 g/t (done at $1,250/oz Au). Defined a gold alteration halo mineralization in host rock around old El Tigre mine
