Rugged cameras and Canon in video surveillance gameWhat I find really interesting is that Canon spent 2.8 billion to buy Axis networks last year to get a major foothold in the video surveillance space last year. While axis has some amazing cameras, they're lacking as far as rugged motion and centralized NVRs. Would be interesting to see if either they look at Gatekeeper to fill out the line up or one of the others takes a crack at them to compete. Was very impressed with the customer line up on the IC link someone posted!
