RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Lots of shares on the ask this morningI pay little attention to pre market bids. They are often used for intimidation and frquently disappear at the speed of light. That said, it doesn't take much to scare some who hold the stock, especially when the chart indicates it's flirting with its highs.
I would have bought more, if I hadn't been blowing snow this AM.
Re the complaint that a 6 figure sell order has an outsized impact on the downside: When buyers are uncovered, it will flip to the upside and just as easily spark recoveries.
On the subject of liquidity: is just a philosophical market term, mostly unattainable without the assistance of a constantly moving bid/ask. But a single seller with a 6 figure sell order will get scalped on the way down as opposed to patiently off-loading 10,000 share lots. So maybe that order was just a hunk of meat thrown to the wolves deliberatelyto run the stops. There are many perspectives amongst the players: daytraders, longterm holders, longs, shorts. That's real liquidity, -at least the kind I understand.
