Basically we have 3 US business days left to see if the PP closes. Is the holdup in the US or Canada? I know for a fact that brokerage houses are operating at a snails pace due to COVID of course.

And I imagine they have some leeway as to when they dot that last "i", which is why I think for maximum effect (though they aren't particularly concerned with this sort of thing) Monday is when they will report the closing.

Absolutely! I'm not saying this hasn't been handled poorly at times, but these are hardly ordinary circumstances. I can only imagine the complications that arise due to border closures and international correspondence due to the pandemic.
