If I were Doug

If I was Doug and had a choice between 6.5M  but temporarily angry investors  because of a delay that was out of my control OR not getting 6.5 M,  I would choose the former.

I’m not saying this has been pleasant, because it hasn’t...  But at the end of the day, the fundamentals here will dictate the SP.  We lost all our momentum like Ciao said, and we may have been above $1 without this PP by now, but if this closes, 6 months from now this company will be much stronger than it was.  I won’t mince words either, this has been brutal.  Some longs may be jaded by this and won’t be quite as long after.  But I’ll repeat what I said at the start of the post... if you’re building a company, and can get 6.5M you take it and worry about the SP later.  I don’t think Doug is sadistically enjoying this, nor do I think he is on cruise control ignoring the passengers, but when the passengers are asking “are we there yet?”, and then you hit traffic, sometimes you gotta just focus on the road and wait till the lanes clear.  I think this closes, but we may be weeks away still, I have no idea.

I’ll continue to trust the driver here.

My last word... for those willing to take a chance, the risk/reward is getting seriously attractive.  Good luck to everyone.

Sensible post Ottawa...you're bang on.  Money makes people crazy and looks like a few of us are about to jump off a cliff Can anyone post a couple TSX-V stocks with $15M-$20M in annual revenues, $1M-$3M profit, Zero Debt and $5M+ in the bank under $60M market cap or a dollar for that matter?   I'd like to know if any exist....cuz I would be buying those too.  When ...more

I'd like to see how Avigilons financials, at the time of there $1Billion buy out from Motorola, compare to GSI's current financials.    Avigilons/Motorola buyout Link Below.  In Doug's Oct 2nd interview he mentioned GSI working along side Motorola.   https://www.straight.com/life/1050826/motorola-completes-historic-deal-acquire-vancouver-surveillance-company ...more

Here's a PR posted shortly before the acquisition https://www.bctechnology.com/news/2018/3/7/Avigilon-Corporation-Reports-Fourth-Quarter-and-Year-End-2017-Results.cfm

A side by side comparison estimating GSI's upcoming earnings for the year had Avigilon's Revenue roughly 20x that of GSI (20 Million) and about 9x the net income (3 Million). It should be noted that the buyout marked an 18% premium on the last trading price. We've got a long way to go, but the company's performance puts us well on track to an attractive buyout in the future.

How about Adcore? 2019 revenue and net income of around 11 million and 1.3 million respectively.  4.5 million in cash, no debt and market cap of 35 million.

Let me plug for CVX Cematrix , since Ceapro was already mentioned. Some income loss but sales are higher than market cap.
