120 bus contract with the initial ($3000/bus minimum ) equipment. Then once installed,July 1 ,  they(bus company)  buy the ''layerd on'' MDS hookup to PaaS '' that could be anywhere from $30/month /per bus minimum , to a susbstatually higher sum, depending on the options selected. O/K: So those numbers estimated  are minimum,but at 50% margin, ''IT'S A SWEET CONTRACT''.

Great point. Given there are 25000 school buses and GSI has 36% of the school districts in Calif., we can do a rough ballpark est and say there are a potential 9000 buses that could be upgraded to PaaS. So tens of millions of dollars worth of potential upgrade biz. Doug did say that K-12 market was doing well. I'd like to see some more visibility on STOP ARM and how much recurring rev can get

     So many gold nuggets lately, it is hard to put them into my picture of GSI and its evolution, which is picking up speed and now gaining momentum in our favour. The customer just said they would be subscribing to SaaS starting July 1. Maybe they'll press release the opening of the data center or have it featured on their website soon.

the 01Jul date had me thinking but if you look at it instead as 30Jun its the end of the school year. This would indicate to me that SaaS is likely sold as a 12 month subscription package. 01Jul24 would take the client to the end of the school year 30Jun25. Just a thought? Maybe someone has a better idea. I'm not sure DD has said how they sell SaaS.  I agree the data center should be

Makes sense to be, pretty sure that DD mentioned the new data center was slated to be open in a couple of weeks. That was back during an interview almost 2 weeks back, so we should be close providing there is no delays.

      Very logical and probable. So the next question becomes: If the school year ends for our existing customers on July 1, how many of them are coming aboard at that time? We've got 49000 possibilities.It is looking bright at GSI! GLTA LONGS!
