New contract
While this contract may seem small with it being for only 5 trains, the timing is important as CEO Doug has his presentation today at the LD Micro conference. Remember that all lead locomotives for transit service must have these cameras and crash recorders by Nov 2027 and Gatekeeper will definitely get their fair share of these contracts.

The total value of this contract is $13,224.86 USD ($2,644.972 per train) based on the information provided on SEPTA's Vendor Requisition Awards webpage. The Requisition Number (Solicitation Number) is MWB192452605 and the posting can be found here

That seems to be it. Is that all of it, as $2.6K US ($3.5K CDN) per train seems low vs. what Doug mentioned during the LD Micro conference as the range for the cost of "systems". Perhaps that is only for CCTV and they already have crash hardened drives, so these cameras are for existing and not new trains.
