RE:RE:RE:I've Spoken My PieceThank you MB for posting these links
It is important to understand exactly what mining processes you are comparing, as the DeUSA mine is not even close to what Western, Gensource, Buffalo, and Beechy are trying to accomplish
The DeUSA mining concept is what Karnalyte Resources was trying to perfect at their Wynyard Project. After KRN ran an optimization program in 2016, they learned more testing was required. DeUSA's German project is a very shallow mine 350 meters and the annual capacity is a fraction of what these Sask hopefuls are targetting. They are also targetting carnalitte, so the processing is much more complex than GSPs mine plans.
If you can find a horizontal selective solution mine currently prodrucing potash, that mining tech would be similiar to GSPs hopes. Both Western and Beechy are in the process of perfecting their tech but are still tweaking their process.
Horizontally drilling through a 1.5 meter sylvinite seam without touching any impurities is what makes this technology unique as processing is a fraction of the cost. Otherwise its a conventional solution mine which of course there are several proven examples out there including Bethune and Belle Plaine.
