RE:Traders!I think $2.40 is a great price, and with drills now turning on the property, the clock is getting louder. Ticking away and more drills should be ramping up. Had a call with IR yesterday, and there are many positive things coming down the pipe. They are getting a much better handle on the geology and although some of the drilling is exploratory, they are seeing Dark Star type geology/rocks in several of the other areas. Hence the land acquisition to the South. This was a big deal, and if the geologists keep finding new areas on the same track record as the last couple of years........
Pinion/Dark Star Resource estimates should be out soon, end of Q2 which is essentially now. North Bullion late July. We don't have any ounces for NB presently, so that will be interesting. There is a new presentation that shows the drilling ramp up - essentially a 40-50% increase from 2016. Also they have found some cost cutting areas and the efficiencies are going up on a meter drilled basis. One of the things I enjoy the most about GSV and their staff is that they are not promotional, they discuss the business and opportunities but the play and results speak for itself. Nice work, this year is going to be defining for GSV IMO.
Also note that the big mines on the Carlin trend have had tens of thousands of holes drilled into them, it is hard to wrap our minds around how large a district GSV has. They will have drilled (incl 2017) maybe 3 or 400 holes including historical? And have made several blind discoveries including Dark Star for maybe a million ounces in DS? Darn, this is a heck of a play.
