RE:I would like to see GSV retest its recent lows I doubt a major share pullback is going to happen, the market knows GSV has updated resource estimates coming out. GSV connected Dark Star North to main Dark Star. DSN had massive meters of high grade that have not been accounted in the previous estimates. Pinion has been expanded a great deal as well.
Keep in mind there is only approx 15% of the float that is retail, and larger investors are mopping up free shares steadily. CIBC is on a major buying spree and they seem to be a good indicator of movement IMO. This is about to get some upward pressure shortly, in my opinion.
I have some contacts in Qatar and it is not looking very good in the Middle East at the moment. Trump and Tillerson can't even get their statements lined up. The terrorist attack in Iran also adds another layer of instability.
The market also shrugged off the UK election, but frankly it is a mess as the Tories lost their majority, and Brexit just became much more intense. Yes interest rates and the dollar might put a little pressure on gold, but there is a ton of accumulation going on in the gold sector. I certainly don't trust the US dollar with Trump at the helm.
If the prices do pull back, we will be moving some assets around to take advantage that is certain. Next week is going to be interesting, and if I were GSV, I would wait till the week after to drop the resource estimates. Ensure the uncertainty of the index reshuffles fades away.
Best of luck, however you are playing it.
