Much talk of manipulation...... Manipulation - you bet ! - Tranparancy gone ! - Corrupt trading systems now rule !
With Alpha and all the other ECNs along with the TSX stream in use , real volumes on the bid and ask are effectively manipulated through the use of this corrupt system manipulators employ to hide real volumes putting fear into weaker hands resulting in these sell downs with popular stocks (and others) that carry such low floats as does GTA. Works particularly well on the popular ones like GTA with it's low float. I take it as a sign that someone (manipulator/s) are loading cheap shares of GTA pending a strong news release.
Gone are the days when many a popular stock could be gauged by heightened volumes in advance of a suspected great news release being imminent with true volumes not only hidden from the average investor , but with actual daily volume level overall totals not appearing at all.
Oh the games, the games - what can the poor retail investor ever do about it. My take is there wouldn't have been such a big drop the last 2 sessions if there was no behind the scenes scare mongering tampering with the bid and ask to create fear and selling . Is this going to be the prelude to a big news release. ?????????????
The short position hasn't changed since the end of April . A paltry 148,600 shares.
