Phase 4

Phase 4

Drilling to date has shown a persistent mineralized system that strikes NE-SW across a 450 strike.  Hole 33 is the first GTA hole to undercut the Afric Zone at any serious depth and they it at a depth of 400 meters vertical.  It is clear GTA is building tonnage here.  The next phase of drilling will undoubtedly add more tons, particularly if they increase the strike projection of the zone to the NE and drill additional holes at depth both through the higher-grade core and to the NE.  If I had a say in the next round of drilling I would drill two holes on either side of 27 in order to satisfy myself that the Afric Zone pinches out to the SW.  I don't believe this is conclusive yet.  While the most southerly hole (28) was a miss, I don't think it was drilled deep enough, since there's a likelihood that the zone is displaced to the west by a diabase dike above the hole.  There are numerous late stage cross-cutting faults (diabase dikes) that displace the zone across this section of rocks.  Two holes here would raise my confidence level of any pinch out of the SW extension of the zone intersected in 27 (40 meters of 1.4 g.t).

Additional drilling should focus on the NE extension (which is wide open)and the depth component of the zone.  I would drill two holes to the north of 30 to test the continuation of the zone to the NE.  Then I would drill three deep holes (600 meters each) along a north-easterly trend of hole 33.  The total of these seven holes would be 3,000 meters and provide further information on the orientation of mineralization and the intensity of alteration within the porphyritic host rock.

I believe the next round of drilling is going to make or break the zone for its mine making potential.  Good luck GTA in round 4!
