This surprises me. After owning this for ever I will holding a glimmer of hope I would get something eventually. I guess it is a viable company or these shareholders would not be buying it.  so much for minority rights

Brutal, pretty much a capital loss for anyone who showed loyalty as they sold off the company to foreign actors. Anyone here post reverse split got wiped out entirely.  Frankly the company is a total flop IMO. Management, the boad, the whole slew of them. To have that many people with finance backgrounds in senior leadership and the board and they couldnt find financing at a time where gold ...more

What happens if  "a majority of the minority" does not vote in favour? Like, if all of us smaller guys start saying that 15 cents per share is not enough. Can we manage to prevent this robbery from happening?                                                  ...more

Especially when the existing group owns 91.5% of the company.  Its almost like the writing ...more

Indeed the sticking point may be in article iii of the approval requirement The Acquisition is subject to approval by securityholders of Gowest. A special meeting of securityholders of Gowest will be called for the purpose of approving the Arrangement (the "Meeting").
