While I hope it is true. I doubt it. The SP would be rocketing upwards. Those in the know would have bought and would be buying eveything possible and the share price would be rocketing.
Just look at Viterra. The SP jumped and the TSX forced the company to disclose. Sure enough, managment acknowledged an offer. Goes to show that retail is the last to know, but when something is up, the SP will move. I just cant see some MM siting there knowing that a $5 offer is there and is letting shares trade at $1.35.
