$5 plus spinoffs of the other properties??  I'd take it.   While I hope it is true.  I doubt it.  The SP would be rocketing upwards.  Those in the know would have bought and would be buying eveything possible and the share price would be rocketing. While I agree with you, if it is true, the price will jump. Also, the reason for the low price is that some one is selling very low with a very low volume to scare other investors. If I have 5M share and sell a 20000 for a lower price so I can jumb and buy 100K to 300K for low price even higher than what I sold the 20K I still make a lot of money. There are investors out there they have the money

Maybe the reason price has not jumped is that there is no offer yet but a trial balloon floated to see what the investor reaction would in case of an actual buy out at these prices?

Hay.   I believe the rumor of $5.20 buy-out is an outright a joke. Some of my rationale 1. Assets like GWY are, as a rule , not sld prior the official release of the 43-101 report.      In the event that report is completed , hich i doubt, the the SP&and volume would rapidly escalate.  2. Management would not negotiate the final Buyout values at the tyime whed

ZIMAR, I really thing also the price should be higer than the lousy $ 5.20, that will be insulting to the investors if GWY's management or prospective buyer is testing the investor (market), I think also there is no smoke without a fire (at least in most cases). Hope management are fair with the investors and take the right decision if there is an offer on the table and let us know before

If the purpose of spreading this rumour is only to pump the stock, Friday is not the day to do it as many traders and brokers leave early or take a long weekend.   On the other hand it does give a few hours to the small investor to get in on the "rumoured" takeout before the official announcement.  Judging by the low volume today, it is only the little guy who is buying in

According to infomation available on this Bullbord, my understanding is that sale is very desirable, however the "rumor note" is talking of the spin-off.
