Interesting thought highfinance.  It's rare to see BMO involved in small caps like Galway, but not impossible. 

 

If this were the case then BMO would have to take the whole $10 million.  As well, it doesn't explain why drilling has stopped EVERYWHERE.  Nor does it explain why all the news started to flow the day after the Eco Oro announcement.  Nor does it explain the stall in news for 6 months at Vetas and consistent stalls at California.  Batista needs these fractions at some point, so that's why I come to that conclusion as the most likely.

 

So if we play your scenario through....BMO loans cash......Nesbit buys placement.......Galway returns cash to BMO......GALWAY NEEDS MORE CASH AND SCREWS NESBIT SINCE THEY COME BACK TO MARKET.  It's possible that Galway receives funds from other institutions as well, I just don't think this is the most probable scenario given all that has happened in the past 9 months.
