10 m Gold hit - 1/2 gram ( Ace Histroical )

10 m Gold hit - 1/2 gram ( Ace Histroical ) From the Barker - report - link in last post -

" DDH hole Ace-02-05 tested a magnetic high coincident with a modest gravity anomaly. This hole started out in the felsite, likely below the sulphide horizon.

The felsite, interfingered with schist and argillite, had a sulphide content less than 10% pyrite and pyrrhotite; this was deemed sufficient to explain the magnetic and weak gravity anomalies. "

Would be nice to know the full report on this - drill hole.
Weak anomalies + low sulphides + argillites ( argillites = same as Spanish Mountain )

I feel the entire Barker report on - Aces...( last post )
Revolves around two themes...
Search for high mag resistivites and look for quartz veins.

Let's now ask the question -
would a junior send off all the core sections to a lab if they're only seeking sulphides or quartz ?
Or, would they try ot save money - and only send in - the quartz or sulphide sections ?
Good question eh...?
I thin kit's a superb question and one that merits further insight - asking if Barker did send off all the core sections ot the lab - inplight of - fully knowing what geology the gold is really in.

i GET THE IDEA  -
Or facsination of seeking quartz vein gold -  and i get the notion and fixation on sulphide gold,
but...is seeking  " hasrd core "  quartz or sulphide the right path ?
Or... could there be more to this - gold anaomaly - and seeking out a transitional phase rock
geology ?

Lead = sulphide...
Quartz = silica and related to the Feldspars and potassium salts.
Sulphides do mix and mingle.
Hnece -transitional - ore bodies that morph.

if Spanish Mountain has rthe gold in the - argillites then...
Argillite is an off breed of lead and schist and carbon and pretty close to - basalts.
Spanish als ohas the gold in - Rhyolites - sediment clays - and calcium lime.
And of course the shales - sedimentry.

So... would veering away from the " hard core " signal = benifit Hawk in finding what geology
the gold might harbor in ?

Could the weak MAG signal be more productine and fertile for - GOLD ?

Why do i say this ?
Check this out - Barker Ace mine file -

PAGE 2 -
2002 - DRILL HOLE - # 4
drill hole ACE-02-04 intercepted a 10 metre interval of mineralized felsite yielding values up to 0.066 per cent copper, 0.086 per cent zinc, 0.070 per cent lead and 0.575 gram per tonne gold Reference: Assessment Report 27125; Turna, R. (2009-10-11): Technical Report on the Ace Property

There's the match - ( very similar grades ) to Spanish Mountain.

But.. a felsite - feldspar rock -
Intersting.

Just thought i'd point this out...
Would have been interesting to actually see the 10m of core - to know for certain if
it was a( salt )  potassium pink feldspar... or other.

I also wonder if... this region would fair better with a set of - alkai eyes - or anything other
than a sulphide fixation ?

Even to the tune if... seeking a transitional - graphitic angle -  outside the high mag readings..
Would such drilling encounter more consistent gold ?
I BET IT'S WORTH THE TRY.

This is not for investors - moreso for, Hawk.
And i guess. ...a wqee biut for current shareholders.
Tad more insight into the historical aspects of the claims.

Cheers....
