Here is how it will play out. Message boards or not. As the company developes it either shows the money or not. And the market participants can sometimes have indications before an event due to how a company shows to be running on theoutisde or rumors on the inside etc. And so a stock can move before news...sometimes.

And it will all happen without a message board. As it did for hundreds of years before the internet.
