full disclosure,
I used some screenshots from this board in a presentation I gave around retail investors and their mindset.
My thesis was based on how easily manipulated retail investors are based on hype and rumour. Reddit was the bulk of my presentation simply because there is more content, but I threw in some of the dumb money folks here too. The difference between stockhouse and reddit is obvious though. the redditors know they are idiots, and are just going with meme stocks, the folks here actually believe they know what they are talking about.. which is both shocking and hilarious.
thank you for all the content, it proved quite useful. understanding how dumb the dumb money is, helps real investors / fund managers understand the kind of leverage and exposure they can have.
special shoutout to greendaze, I added in your misunderstanding of PUT options as the last slide on my presentation, your stupidity was the finale, got it in just in time!
