This Australian silicon smelter emits massive amounts of GHG.  As stated for every 50,000 tons of silicon produced they emit 500,000 tons of CO2.  

HPQ Silicon Purevap QRR reactor will do it enormously cleaner and in one step w cheaper feedstock.... HPQ will seriously disrupt the Si industry.
