I think the collateral point is that a really attractive sounding "gold mine" starts seeing some excitement in the share price way before the first gold is actually mined.

BT told us in the presentation how impressed the folk he talked to seemed to be, and they included investment community. His word is all we got; nothing as such is suggested by the behaviour of trading in the stock.

So yes, business wise, nobody jumps with two feet on lab tests, etc, etc. Hence NDA's with all potential $ commitments to be worked out contingent on continued development.
