Sounds like a yes to me and will be hard for HPQ to stay independent. If TESLA wanted desperatly to buyHPQ what would our share price look like?

I think a lot of peeps think that because PYR signed an exclusive NDA deal in April with a tunneling company (Could be The Boring Company)  Then PYR signed an NDA deal in June with an american aerospace company to sell them powders for 3D printing, (Could be Space X)  Everyone here knows the possible connection that HPQ might be in an NDA with Tesla. Elon has been looking all over the ...more

That statement was "revealing" to say the least.  Now, I'm almost positive Tesla is in our future.  His preceding comments re: the importance & emphasis of "internalizing profits" by Tesla only adds to this future possibility.  Tesla wants to control the EV/energy storage space, & no better way to do that than by expanding your control over your ...more

The other question is - does the investment industry know HPQ exisat?
Comment by developbc on Sep 24, 2020 2:24pm
They will.  We are the only publicly traded company in this arena.  5 years ahead of everyone.  "Ace in the hole "
Comment by Thor6570 on Sep 24, 2020 2:43pm
Remember the recent deal with Pyro , we set this up so a third party may join if they so wish
Comment by Breizh1 on Sep 24, 2020 3:20pm
You say te only publicly traded company in the arena??? What is Ferroglobe?? Pictures on their website are akin to the images in the Tesla presentation. Please do some reading and DD. https://www.ferroglobe.com/products/silicon-metal/ You may have to copy and paste the link in the url.

As far as I can tell nothing close to the purity of HPQ. Here is a list of silicon uses from the website you mentioned. "Batteries not included." That said, silicon compounds are the raw material for a large and growing number of industrial and consumer products such as: Silicone rubber parts Urethane foam Sealants Adhesives Lubricants Food additives ...more

I suppose you ran out of batteries. You need to think a bit harder.. Silicon metal needs to be transformed to be included into the batteries components. I will qualify that a kneejerk reaction. You can take a long week-end.
Comment by pjecan on Sep 24, 2020 4:04pm
If I am not mistaken this is what HPQ does. Thanks for the long week-end off.
Comment by Welderkev1 on Sep 24, 2020 4:07pm
If you look at their press releases they are being pushed out by foreign companies because their processes are too expensive to compete
Comment by Breizh1 on Sep 24, 2020 5:10pm
You are an unbelievable lier. Silicon in Batteries was just born on Sept 22nd. The Ferroglobe site starts with this info before the list of byproducts which you only retained. Here is the header from Ferroglobe: " What is Silicon used for? High-purity silicon metal is used by many industries. In the chemical industry it is used for producing silicon compounds as well as silicon wafers ...more

Breizh1 check out this news from ferroglobe. They're being killed by imported silicon because they can't compete https://www.ferroglobe.com/press/news/itc-finds-us-silicon-metal-producers-injured-by-imports-from-bosnia-and-herzegovina-iceland-malaysia-and-kazakhstan/
