Nouveau monde has stated they plan on using their silicon byproduct from their graphite. They may have found Hpq to be more advantageous or maybe they'll strike a deal for Hpq to purify it with their torches. But I think a lot more is put into the Dr. Rou connection than there really is. I could be wrong but I think his analysis is what either is after.
