MONTREAL, March 26, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- PyroGenesis Canada Inc. (https://pyrogenesis.com) (TSX: PYR) (OTCQX: PYRGF) (FRA: 8PY), a high-tech company (the “Company” or “PyroGenesis”) that designs, develops, manufactures and commercializes advanced plasma processes and sustainable solutions which are geared to reduce greenhouse gases (GHG) and address environmental pollutants, today announces that, further to HPQ Silicon Inc.’s (“HPQ Silicon”) press release dated November 17, 2023, indicating that HPQ Silicon would no longer be pursuing the commercial development of the PUREVAPTM Nano Silicon Reactor (NSiR) in order to focus on other initiatives, PyroGenesis has reacquired the intellectual property rights to the NSiR technology on a no-cost basis.

I think we paid something like $2.4M to PYR to acquire.  Now they get it back for free.   Great business model, as long as it is not done between "sister" companies.

1.  i havent been trashing it for years, this used to be a good stock. 2. i didnt say anything about the NSiR component of the company 3. when was the last time we have got any form of QRR update? i dont even remember. 4. you are correct about being a troll to you delusional turds

If you are a shareholder of HPQ and still do not konw the difference between NSiR and QRR, you should have done some more due diligence before buying into this stock. NSiR = Nano Silicon Reactor, this is the intellectual property that is in question in this morning PYR press release.  It is used to transform silicon into nano silicon powder. QRR = Quartz Reduction Reactor, is still a HPQ ...more

Great move Peter,,,keep this valuable process in-house...Bernard already said he was going after the technology that he can monetize,  before spending hard to get money on R& D for now !!...Bernard has the FSR ' fumed silica '  that is undergoing testing as we wait patiently for news....He also has si metal  & battery powders all being tested by very large global ...more
