AGM Thoughts
AGM Thoughts Thanks Kade for your recollections. All true and helpful. I was also present and took some notes. Here are my initial take aways from the meeting with apologies for any overlap with Kade.
- There were about 30 plus present and a good Q & A session with Robert. David V. was available prior to the meeting and I had a good chat with him. He is heading to Kryg this week on an "education" mission for local, regional and fed gov't officials. Inasmuch as all levels are going to be partners in Stans, David, I think will be doing foundational work to prepare the way for final negotiations and deals.
- Robert spent a good amount of time differentiating between Minining Licences and Licensing Agreements. The recent LA is until 2014 and is sufficient to bring onside the various gov't levels as partners. Robert made a point of saying such partnerships only apply to Kutessay II mine.
- The agm powerpoint presentation will be available on the website soon, if not already. Lots of good info, old and new, including a projection of timelines for the next 2 - 3 years.
- The Akyuz (sp) mill will only be purchased if the price is right. Robert indicated that the company will negotiate with the gov't if they (the Kryg's) win the court ruling. If the Russian co. wins then I assume we will exercise the existing option and purchase same. 2 important points about the mill's value to us: production is moved up to 2013; and valuable training for the locals in mining rare earths. I conclude that it will be big news if we are able to buy the mill. However, it is only a stop gap until a new mill is built.
More on the AGM later tonight.
