RE:RE:RE:Update From David
I own shares of Stans and was looking to average down from the $0.80 to $1.16 a share I paid. Have tried to understand why the share price is so low given as you say that Stans has won every case in its pursuit of $118 million. If you want to sit around and drink the koolaid that is your option. I thought that the purpose of this board was to discuss the merits of a stock, not issue self-reinforcing opinions to one another based upon no independent research. I have researched every statement I have made. Have you read the arbitration decision? I stand by my characterization of it. If you have another interpretation, then explain it. If you want to challenge any of my assertions cite to the evidence - not cryptic statements from Stans but the hard documents. For the record, I have never said that Stans has lied. I think it far more likely that they are taking colorable legal positions (with what seems to me to be with questionable merit) because as long as they can continue to assert a colorable claim (even if it appears tenuous to me) and tie up the Centerra shares, then they have leverage over the Kyrgs. Since Kumtor is a large part of the Kyrgs income, that brings a lot of leverage to bear to force a settlement. This is good for Stans and its shareholders, and if I were Stans I would do the same thing. However, I would not be surprised if this matter is litigated to the end that the Kyrgs prevail on vacating the injunction. If that happens Stans' leverage will be far less than it is today. Also one comment on this being a 6 month to 2 year process. I think that is reasonable, but with appeals it could go longer. BTW I would submit that the majority of the institutional investors apparently have similar feelings to mine given the share price.
