RE:RE:Rare Earths and gold in Russia and central Asia

RE:RE:Rare Earths and gold in Russia and central AsiaI would be very surprised if this meant anything more than Polymetal was looking within Russia (i.e., outside China) for a possible REE target. Remember, as the article indicates they already have Tomtor on the books, Suggests they may make a decision on going with Tomtor by mid 2020, so why look farther afield when they may already have more than they can handle? Remember, they are mainly a precious metals company with only a possible 'small' interest in RE.

It will need 100s mills if Polymetal want to go both mining and processing LREE and will probably only occur if they get Russian strategic backing (sound familiar like the US and REE presently?) Without the processing its all roads lead back to China.

Admittedly, Russia has its own large REE resources although they have problems re., deposit value and weather etc. Yes, the in vogue REE language at the moment for non Chinese is to make REE moves anywhere but China. However, this is much easier said than done; hence our present dismal global REE sector situation.
