Unfortunately, Neon seems to have long since dropped the joint approach idea and now indicate they are after the Kutessay II property themselves.

“Neon Mining has recently applied for and  is currently in the process of acquiring the license for the KUTESSAY II RARE EARTH PROPERTY, located in the Aktyuz Ore Field, Kemin District, Chui Oblast, Kyrgyz Republic, 140 km east of Bishkek, the Kyrgyz capital, and 43 km from the nearest rail station in Kemin.”

Remember in the exploration world making claims provides news feed publicity.

As I have suggested in the past this whole Krygyz issue is a mess. Krygyz won’t pay the award and so won’t legally receive their projects back until they settle with the funders. However, likewise, nobody (despite Neon’s claims) is going to look seriously at these projects until the legalities are settled. Then, even if they were of to have some actual value for someone, it will take tens of millions to put e.g., just the processor back in to operation. Hence, I believe that Stans has already written these Krygyz assets off their books as losses.

Again, some well targeted questions at the AGM might clarify and put to this ongoing issue to bed.
