Mr. Ireland isn't sitting aroundDeep and Kojak,
Mr. Ireland is wealthy and with him recently purchasing more HSTR has given him a little more leverage. As you say he buy more and position himself as the largest HSTR shareholder and make himself a quick buck "if/when" HSTR decides they have to JV, realizing Unga is too big to do it on their own.
There are a couple of Conferences this month that Heliostar is represented. Last week they were in Toronto and currently they are in Montreal and I'm sure Ireland is paying attention of Charles as he neogotiates with investors.
In the HSTR Twitter feed, I noticed a very large Newmont banner hanging on the walls in Toronto.
There is a lot going on this summer with overbought stocks and crypto going through much needed major haircuts. Meaning there is an awful lot of rotation of money.
The price of gold has held it's own, in spite of the U.S. Federal Reserve commitment to finally tackle the extreme inflationary mess they have put on the U.S. and global markets.
I personally think Heliostar will have to relinquish more control than they want in order to develop Unga and Mexico.
Newmont is having a great year and hungry for tax write-offs and spending some of their profits to purchase the rights of Unga would be a fruitful move on their part.
