Halt?

Why would company request halt for a whole day?  Results would be earlier than expected.  Bad news, they'd just give it, right?  Perhaps they're selling themselves and needed more time.

Deep, I think your earlier thoughts are the most probable---they have news and somehow it got out to some folks--ahead of when it should have. So maybe there could be some risk of insider trading they want to avoid. One thing is for sure, IMHO, this management team and ownership-and those heave investors they have attracted-- are transparent and honest to a fault. These folks are trying to do

Yeah, I think you're right.  The thing was moving up sharply, starting yesterday.  Lab leak?

Well Deep, it was your thought it could be infomation getting out ahead of any timelines so I tip my hat to you. Whether your right or not, it's a very insightful point/possibility explaining today's events and share price increase befoer the company shut trading down.  If this is the case--lab leak, then wouldn't imagine Heliostar would shut down as share price going on to break

I've noticed in the past companies usually halt on late Thursday or early Friday if they're releasing bad news, gives the weekend to swallow it. Maybe their trying to raise more funds. We will soon see. Enjoy the nice weather and stay safe

Well, they halted during the day with the stock ascending.  That leads me to believe info had leaked.  If they hadn't halted, perhaps it takes off on no news, clearly indicating an issue.  Their lawyer probably told them to shut it down.
