RE:RE:RE:Eldorado Gold does not have $450m to buyout Integra !Comapany like G (with Cap ~$20B = 700lb silver-back gorilla, or AEM, Cap~$15.6B = 500lb gorilla) would be a better proposition as far as share swap is concerned. ELD with some $4.4B Cap = 150lb early  teennager is no match. Even if ElD offer a 1 for 6 ICG, because of the dilution (a lot more significant compared to that from a G offer) the SP of $6 will instantly drop right after the offer at least by ~10% (to match the dilution).

In addition, because of ELD's holdings in unstable jusrisdictions, if ICG shareholders agreed to accept the offer (hypothetically speaking) they would try to head for the exit right after the share conversion, causing another drop in the price of SP.

A cash offer (if the price is right) from ELD (for Lamaque South only) could be doable, but ELD has no money left. The $1B, from the Chinese holdings,  is being poured down the bottomless pits in Greece.
