I'm not sure why the news on potash prices would impact the stock price though. Granted MBAC has some projects in the pipeline that could produce potash, but they are not even on the radar right now and (in my opinion) have no bearing on the current share price of the company as they are focused on producing phosphate (SSP). Just to seek clarity I contacted investor relations who ensured me that the announcement by Uralkali has no impact on the phosphate business, that potash cannot be substituted for phosphate, and there are no correlations in prices. Any thoughts on why the sell off then?
